Snowman Slime

Calling all chemists! Join us for an extra special winter slime activity: Snowman Slime! In this guided experience, families will learn to make their own glittery snowslime, and decorate a snowman container to take it home - mess-free! This program is suitable for all ages, but small children may require adult assistance. This experience costs $2 per participant + regular priced admission at the door. Tickets available here.

Minty Fizzing Snowballs

Are you ready to have a ball? A snow-ball, that is! In this hands-on activity, families will work together to measure, mix, and assemble their own minty, fizzing snowballs (bath bombs) to take home! This program is suitable for all ages, but small children may require adult assistance. Please note: this activity will contain common kitchen and toiletry products, mixed by hand. If you or your children experience allergies or skin sensitivities to common household products, please reach out, and we will provide you with a list of products used. Snowball Catapults

Ready...aim...snowball fight! In this guided experience, families will explore force and motion as you learn what it takes to make a working (mini) snowball catapult and targets. Then, test out your creation on our snowball firing range, before taking it home. This program is suitable for all ages, but small children may require adult assistance. Snowflake Laboratory

How does a snowflake form? Is every snowflake really unique? Can you create your own indoor blizzard? Explore these questions and more in our snowflake laboratory! In this guided experience, families will explore snowflakes up close, make snowflake inspired art, and even capture a blizzard in a bottle to take home! Noon Years Eve

Ring in the New Year a little bit early at Kids 'N' Stuff! Noon Years Eve allows the whole family to celebrate the holiday, counting down to NOON! Join us in making your own noise maker and other New Years activities, including a ball-drop at noon! Activities are free with admission. Regular admission pricing applies. Museum members are FREE!

Ice Lanterns

Light up the night with your own DIY Ice Lantern! In this hands-on program, families will work together to create and decorate their own illuminated ice lanterns, to be enjoyed outdoors for days to come.This program is suitable for all ages, but small children may require adult assistance. Please note - for ease of transport, ice lantern molds will be created and filled with decorations at the museum, for participants to fill with water and freeze at home. Clay Bells with the
Jackson Pottery Guild January 4 & January 6

Ring in the new year in this hands-on pottery activity - clay bells! In this interactive program, families will learn the secrets behind pottery, guided by experts from the Jackson Pottery Guild! Participants will work together to form and cast a clay bell using real pottery materials and techniques. The bells will then be baked by the Jackson Pottery Guild, resulting in a new holiday decoration that will last for years! This program is suitable for all ages, but small children may require adult assistance. Please note - participants will leave their bells at the museum to be processed, dried, glazed, and fired, which will take several days. Participants will be notified when their bell is ready to be picked up from KNS. This experience costs $4 per participant + regular priced admission at the door. Tickets available here.
