Bryan J. Barber II Children’s Stage |
The show is on at the newly renovated and dedicated Bryan J. Barber II Children’s Stage. Funded with love by Willie and Gwen Tabb, their family, and friends, this was a complete renovation of the existing drama area. It now includes a wheelchair accessible stage, a working audio control room, and dimmable LED lighting around the stage and mirror. In addition, the costume area has a new and large paper doll activity, featuring our signature KNS kids and hand-drawn costumes from our staff!

Water Table |
Explore the interaction between water and solid objects by creating their own water flow patterns using movable panels. Children will be able to alter water flow speed, direction, turbulence and height. Whether it is racing ducks or fishing, kids of all ages will enjoy the water table.
|
New Water Table |
Our newest exhibit was installed in Fall of 2021. This custom 16-foot long water table is reminiscent of the Kalamazoo river forks with a bridge/waterfall component modeled after Albion's Cass Street bridge. With four distinct activities and plenty of room for free play, the new water table is a dramatically different experience than the previous water exhibit. Rooted in the principles of child-led play the new Water Table Exhibit allows for creative play for children and families of all ages and abilities.
