Picture
Developed by Marshall Community Credit Union, our new financial literacy exhibit, Pig E. Bank's Credit Union, aims to start conversations between parents and children about where people get money, how to save, and needs versus wants. Drama Area
The Drama Area will inspire children's imaginations. The drama space is complete with a kid-sized accessible stage and an abundance of dress-up costumes. Make your favorite stories come to life or create your own production on our stage. Kids and parents will also enjoy the puppet theater with a variety of puppets for creating your own puppet show.

Felpausch Grocery Store
Our grocery exhibit comes fully stocked with a variety of “fresh”, “packaged” and “frozen” products. There is even a checkout lane complete with a conveyor, working scanner and register. Kids can fill up their carts, restock the shelves and run the checkout. Older children will enjoy reading the creative labeling of food from many cultures showing them where our food comes from. Stimulate your child's imagination and appetite as they explore:

Math and metrics
Product categories
Meal planning
Nutritional choices
Grocery store economics
Careers and role playing
Ethnic foods and cultural diversity

Messy Art Room
Art exploration is an activity that many families wish for their children…but not always in their own home. The dedicated art room provides an expressive opportunity that few locations can parallel. Art provides a unique window into a child’s development, well-being, and emotions. Kids ‘N’ Stuff has incorporated many adaptations so all children can fully engage in play activities of their choice. The Olson Family Messy Art Room includes large handled paintbrushes, an accessible easel, and a variety of types of scissors so children can explore art to the best of their ability.

We give a special thanks to the Delmar and Audria M. Olson Family Foundation for funding the Messy Art Room and Battle Creek Community Foundation for updating it!

The House of Mitchell Costume Shop
Sponsored by Rebecca and Peter Mitchell
Children can create their own fashions and costumes to debut in the adjacent Drama Area. Using fabrics, templates, mannequins, and lots of accessories, children can realize their designs from concept through production.

Water Table
One of the joys of childhood has always been playing with water. At Kids 'N' Stuff children will be able to explore the interaction between water and solid objects by creating their own water flow patterns using movable panels. Children will be able to alter water flow speed, direction, turbulence and height.  Whether it is racing boats or fishing, kids of all ages will enjoy the water table.
