Kids ‘N’ Stuff Children’s Museum field trips and group visits provide the opportunity for children to play in the museum’s exhibits and enjoy activities based on their age, interests and developmental abilities. The Museum serves as a destination for educators and groups looking for experiential learning and early learning standards. Groups can explore the Museum at their own pace with our 120-minute Self-Guided Field Trips. Discounted admission rates apply for schools, childcare centers, and nonprofit groups of 15 or more students, teachers, and adults. |
Registration Deadline: Groups must register at least 14 calendar days in advance from the date of visit. Groups reserving less than 14 calendar days in advance will not be eligible for a group discount. Kids N Stuff is pleased to provide free admission to all teachers, bus drivers, and required school staff.

Payment: The group must enter the museum at the same time and pay in one lump sum to receive the group rate.
Payment Method: The Museum accepts credit, cash, and check. An invoice will be generated for your group - payment for that invoice can be made before or during your visit.

Chaperones: There is a requirement of one adult chaperone for every five children. Chaperones include teachers, teacher aides and parents. Required chaperones are admitted free; additional adults are $5 each Wed-Fri, and $6 each on Tuesdays. Museum memberships may not be used for admission as part of a group visit.
The Museum requires chaperones to supervise children in their group at all times and ensure that their conduct complies with all Museum rules and policies governing appropriate behavior and health and safety protocols. The Museum reserves the right to ask groups to leave at any time, for any reason. Groups that are asked to leave will not receive a refund and may be subject to future restrictions. |

Day of Your Visit: ArrivaL
Please keep your group together and wait to be greeted by museum staff before entering the building. Please make sure group chaperones are aware of arrival, departure, and lunch times (if applicable). Please contact the Museum by calling 517-629-8023 if your group will be late.

All chaperones, including teachers, aides, and parents, must abide by these rules. Chaperones are also responsible for reminding students in their group of these policies while in the Museum.
Health and Safety:
Wash hands and use hand sanitizer regularly throughout your visit. Hand sanitizer is located throughout the Museum floor.
- Follow ALL directions given by museum staff and/or volunteers.
- Please use your inside voices when inside and be respectful to other museum visitors and staff.
- Please use walking feet when inside, and keep shoes on.
- Please keep the space clean by returning items to their homes, before moving on to a new exhibit.
- Please have fun!!

Educational Programs Currently Available:
Puzzle Box Program - $30
Locked Boxes. Cryptic Clues. Can you and your students solve the puzzle box in time? In this add-on field trip experience, students and chaperones work together in small teams to solve a series of word, number, and letter puzzles, to open a series of locked boxes. Each locked box contains the clues and tools needed to open the next.
Learning Goals: Throughout the course of the program, students will complete jigsaw puzzles, word searches, and mazes to identify colors, letters, numbers under twenty, and sight words. Students will use creativity, teamwork, problem solving, and critical thinking skills to solve each puzzle.
Details: This add-on program is a flat rate of $30 per session. 6 puzzle sets are available, meaning that students will break down into small teams of 3-5 students and 1-2 chaperones to solve. Groups larger than 30 students will be required to book multiple sessions of this program. Including instruction, this program will last approx. 45 minutes. This program is intended for first and second grade students. Teachers of younger or older students are encouraged to email [email protected] to discuss if this program is appropriate for their students.

Arrangements may be made to eat onsite for an additional $25. The fee includes set-up and clean-up of the lunch area by KNS staff.

Reschedule/Refunds/Cancellations
All payments are non-refundable. If a visit must be rescheduled, please let our staff know at the earliest possible convenience. Please email [email protected] or call the museum to cancel or reschedule.
