Summer Camp

Summer Camps at KNS!

Join us for a summer of play at Kids 'N' Stuff. KNS will be offering four (4) weeks of summer camps this year. Each camp consists of five (5) days, Monday - Friday, and each camp day runs from approx. 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM (not including drop-off and pick-up).

  • Our summer camps are designed for campers aged 6-10 and best enjoyed by those ages. Campers must be 6 years old by the first day of camp in order to participate. Campers younger than 6 and older than 10 will not be allowed to participate in camps this year.

  • To receive the best experience, it is expected that your camper be in attendance for all days of your chosen camp.

Our camps this summer include:

Registration Closed June 8th - June 12th:
Exploring the Great Indoors (Nature Camp)

Discover, create, and explore the wonders of the natural world—right inside the museum! Our Nature Camp invites young scientists and artists to investigate plants, bugs, water, and soil through hands-on experiments, creative projects, and playful exploration. Guided by curiosity and imagination, campers will build a deeper connection to nature while learning through play.

June 15th - June 19th:
Let's Make Art! (Art Camp)

Young artists will explore, experiment, and create in this hands-on art camp designed to spark imagination and confidence. Campers will discover different art materials and techniques, from painting and collage to sculpture and storytelling through art. Each day builds creative skills while encouraging self-expression, collaboration, and curiosity. The week ends with a joyful art exhibition where campers proudly share their masterpieces in a real museum-style gallery.

FAQ

When do camps occur?
Each camp runs Monday-Friday, from approx. 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM, not including camper drop-off and pick-up. These are day-camps, meaning campers must be dropped off in the morning and picked-up in the afternoon. Campers do not stay the night.
What age should campers be?
Our summer camps are designed for campers aged 6-, 10 and best enjoyed by those ages. Campers must be 6 years old by the first day of camp in order to participate.
What does a typical day at camp look like?
Campers will be dropped off at the museum between 8:30 and 9:00 AM, and picked up between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. Schedules will vary depending on the week’s theme, but each day will include two “deep dives” into the topic (expert-guided opportunities for discovery, experimentation, and play), several “brain breaks” and child-led explorations of the week’s theme, snack periods, and lunch. We will spend as much time as possible exploring KNS exhibits, and also spend a reasonable amount of time outside, weather cooperating.
How much do camps cost?
Camps cost $300 per camper, per week. KNS Museum Members receive $50 off the cost of camps.
Payment Schedule
Payments must be made in full at least one week prior to the first day of your chosen camp.
What should my child bring to camp?
  • Each day, children should bring a water bottle, outdoor clothes fitting the weather, and a change of clothes.
  • Each day, children should bring a morning and afternoon snack, and a lunch which does not require reheating. On Fridays, a pizza lunch will be provided.
  • More details will be provided for registered campers!
Are Scholarships Available?
A limited number of scholarships are available for campers this year. To inquire about scholarships, please email Nick VanAcker, Director of Outreach and Engagement, at [email protected], with the subject line “2026 Summer Camp Scholarships”.
