Kids 'N' Stuff Quick Facts

Type of Organization: Kids 'N' Stuff Children's Museum is an interactive museum that provides a wide variety of hands-on programs for children ages 0-10. We are open to the general public, and we also offer special activities and programs for school groups, scouting groups, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), church groups and other organizations. Our exhibits and curriculum are aligned with the Michigan Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCEs). The Museum is also a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. (What's new.)

History: Kids 'N' Stuff was founded in 2002 by Rebecca Mitchell, whose husband was president of Albion College. Compared to other children’s museums in the Midwest, KNS is relatively small but earns high marks for leveraging its available resources in many creative ways. The organization occupies a 12,000-square-foot space on Superior Street, the historic main thoroughfare of downtown Albion. (Learn more about exhibits or programs.)

Service Area: We draw visitors from all of southern Michigan, as well as portions of northern Indiana and northern Ohio.

School Year Hours: Tuesday through Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursdays, 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Summer Hours: Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday Noon to 4:00 p.m.

Admission: $4 per person for individuals one year and older. Discounts are available. (See details.)
