Art
exploration is an activity that many families wish for their children… but
not always in their own home. The dedicated art room provides an
expressive opportunity that few locations can parallel. Art provides a
unique window into a child’s development, well-being, and emotions. |
Through the
Able to Play Grant, KNS has incorporated many adaptations so all children
can fully engage in play activities of their choice. For example, the art
room includes large handled paintbrushes, an accessible easel,
and a variety of types of scissors so children can explore art to the
best of their ability. |
